It was connected to a cylinder of pure oxygen and set to deliver oxygen at a rate of 15 litres per minute. The team closely monitored dissolved oxygen levels, taking readings every 20 minutes to track the impact of the actions. Results: rapid and sustained oxygen recovery The results were almost immediate. Within minutes of activating the Nano-Oxy unit, the team recorded a positive improvement in DO levels close to where the Nano-Oxy unit was. At the next reading, 20 minutes later, increased DO levels were detectable throughout the lake, indicating that the oxygen was diffusing rapidly and evenly across the body of water. To ensure the long-term health of the lake, oxygenation was maintained at 15 litres per minute for three hours. During this period, the dissolved oxygen rose steadily from the dangerously low 3.2 ppm to a safe and healthy 7.5 ppm. This swift recovery not only halted the immediate threat to the fish but also restored optimal conditions for their ongoing health and growth. Once the Nano-Oxy unit had been removed and the DO levels were trusted to the original aeration system, results showed that this was sufficient to maintain safe oxygen levels for the fish. This proved that the boost provided by the Nano-Oxy unit had reset the system, allowing normal procedures to resume.
